During the day Ellie May tends to sleep on her own dog bed. Although Ellie May lives happily with her canine foster siblings her ideal home would not have any resident pets. She can be passionately protective of her humans and would prefer to be the only dog in the household.Ellie May has great energy and she enjoys the occasional hunt. She is truly in her element when she is hunting with her foster dad. Ellie is a very smart and well behaved girl who knows many commands and tricks. Her recall is great and she stays close to her foster dad when they are out and about. She is completely housetrained. Because Ellie May relishes playing outdoors she will require a fenced yard in her Forever Home for her safety. Some of Ellie May s hobbies include riding in cars taking walks and playing with toys. She adores car rides and she will jump right into the vehicle and settle in to watch the scenery go by. Ellie s leash manners continue to improve and her Forever Family should be prepared to give her the frequent walks and or jogs she needs. Her foster family thinks it is so cute that Ellie May can entertain herself with her toys for hours--and she can t wait to de-stuff the next new one Ellie May is looking forward to being loved cuddled and snuggled by her Forever Family.
