Do you have an upbeat personality Love working with customers Dairy Queen is looking for you We are currently accepting resumes for team members for our Cocoa Beach location Job Description The Role may consist of (but not be limited to) Essential Functions Greets customers and takes food order provides information about menus looks for opportunity to up-sell products. Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card accurately counts and provides change to customers as required and follows all HMS Host customer service and cash handling policies and procedures Cleans and stocks work area and customer area Assemble and present completed treat orders including stocking cleaning and maintaining all customer areas in a clean safe pleasant manner and to all restaurant safety and health code standards. Assists in locating reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed Receives inventory moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping labeling dating stocking storing rotating and checking temperature of products Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipment NO walk-in s accepted You must submit your resume online and will receive a call to review your information. Qualifications Customer service sales and or food preparation experience helpful Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must live within 20 minutes of Dairy Queen (for on-call purposes) Must have good attendance Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen Must be able to interact with customers in an outgoing and upbeat manner at all times Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time. Must be available to work on-call if necessary. Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges. Qualified candidates must have excellent customer service skills including strong verbal communication skills exhibit good manners proper personal hygiene positive attitude and promptness. Capability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to move and respond quickly to various requests and commands read order monitors and communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers.
