Feldman - Male Pekingese

Feldman is a young male Pekingese. He was surrendered by his owner at only a year and a half because he and the young child in the home did not get along. Feldman is a typical Peke in that he is one-person kind of dog and he is very affectionate. He loves his person and everyone else is just... there. He s not terribly active and would make a great lap dog for a quiet couple or an older person. He walks well on a leash for leisurely stroll. Feldman gets along with small dogs and ignores cats. Big dogs intimidate him and young active kids overwhelm. He will require regular grooming as he has a beautiful Pekingese coat but he seems to actually enjoy the one-on-one lap time for daily brushing. Feldman appears to be housetrained and he ll go into his crate without drama. He will alert of a visitor but he is not a nuisance barker. He would make a phenomenal companion to the right home. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation food toys etc..) a 250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application home visit reference check obedience training agreement and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed neutered vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs garage dogs porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours.
