DOB March 7 2013.This very handsome boy is a big cuddly teddy bear with the sweetest disposition. Forrest has a torn ear which gives him a rugged macho cat look but don t let that fool you inside he s as soft and sweet as a marshmallow. He has the cutest little white tipped tail that you can see waving at you from across a dark room. Forrest is always so happy to see you when you arrive home and loves attention. He ll let you know how much he appreciates you by butting his head against your hand while you re patting him all the while purring up a storm. This happy guy never seems to have a bad day. Once you meet him it s impossible not to fall in love with him.Forrest is a wobble cat - he has cerebellar hypoplasia which requires no treatment but causes his back legs to be wobbly. This does not cause him any pain is not contagious and his life expectancy is the same as any other cat. He s a bit clumsy and doesn t move very quickly but his foster family has found that to be an endearing trait that has captured their hearts. Since he doesn t have the best coordination stairs would be a safety concern so a one-level home would be best suited to this fella.Forrest came to Toronto Cat Rescue from Quinte Humane Society. He spent over four months there in a cage waiting for a special person to find him and fall in love with him. Sadly that person never came. We don t have any details about his history prior to his time in the shelter but it was noted that he gets along well with other cats. He is also good with older children. It appears to his foster family that he would really enjoy having a friend to snuggle with. From the day Forrest arrived in his foster home he has been a pure joy. All he wants is for someone to love him forever.
