IT IS VERY IMPERATIVE THAT CALLIE GETS PLACED INTO A NEW HOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE HUSBAND HAS PASSED AWAY AND THE WIFE WHO HAS HEALTH ISSUES HERSELF CANNOT HANDLE CALLIE. HER ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN REDUCED FROM 100.00 DOWN TO 50.00 CALLIE is an owner surrender due to a death in the family. She is a Husky Terrier mix and was born on or around August 6 2014 which makes her about 18-19 months old. She currently weighs around 55 pounds and should not get any bigger. Callie has a very sweet and affectionate personality and loves everyone that she meets. She gets along with other dogs but because she has never really been around the feline species we are not sure how she would be around cats. She likes the company of children but because of her size and energy it is recommended that she be placed into a home with older children so she won t knock them over. Even though she is pretty obedient and already knows most of the basic commands she could use a little bit of obedience training and she does need some work with walking on a leash. She is crate trained mostly at night and house broken as well. BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO OCCASIONALLY CLIMB OVER A CYCLONE FENCE IT IS RECOMMENDED (BUT NOT MANDATORY) THAT SHE BE PLACED INTO A HOME THAT HAS A SECURED PRIVACY FENCE OR SHE WOULD NEED TO BE WALKED ON A DAILY BASIS.
