This pretty girl is Kinder and her background is a bit of a mystery. Kinder was found stray by a family in East Texas but she is so shy that they could not capture her so they fed her for a couple of months before they were able to get her to safety. She was very shy and fearful when we first rescued her understandably after living stray for such a long time but in just a few days she made a remarkable transformation and now greets us with tail wags and will even run up to you for petting. Someone loved Kinder at one time because she knows Sit and Shake and she seems to be housetrained but she does not have a microchip. We are just glad she is with us now so that we can find her a forever home that will cherish her. Kinder is a stocky girl weighing 41 pounds with short little legs so we think she may be an Aussie Corgi mix. She looks exactly like a black tri Aussie only shorter with a gorgeous little docked tail. Kinder seems to be more comfortable around women than men and she is sometimes afraid of loud noises or fast movements so we do not find her suitable for a home with children. Kinder does enjoy other dogs but since we have gotten to know her we think she might be more suitable for a home where she is the only dog and can get all of the attention as she does not enjoy sharing her toys. Kinder has now been fully vaccinated spayed microchipped tested negative for heartworms and is current on flea and heartworm preventatives.
