Meet Scarlet she is about 15 pounds a Schnauzer Poodle mix and is about ten years old. She would like a quiet cozy home where she can comfortably spend her elder years. Scarlet will do quite well being the only dog in the home or being paired with another older dog. She doesn t interact with other dogs and is quite timid around them. She likes to follow her foster mom around the house and likes to be held. Scarlet has hearing and sight deficits and requires lifelong thyroid medication for hypothyroidism. She does well on her medication. She needs someone who will help re-educate her regarding her house training as she seems to have forgotten the general concept. She would do best in a household in which someone is home most of the time. She can t negotiate stairs but is okay with one or two steps such as patio or porch steps.
