Laura Lasso is an extremely sweet girl who was found as a stray in far west Houston. She easily settled in with her pack of foster siblings without any issues aggression or scuffles. She s not overly needy but doesn t really like being crated. It s possible she could learn to tolerate it and might be fairly easy to crate train. She appears to have no interest in playing with toys mainly because she doesn t seem to know what they are for. I haven t heard Laura bark since she s been here. She has been really good about doing all her business outside and since I leave my side door open almost all day when the weather is nice she hasn t had any accidents at all. I haven t seen her use the doggie door yet but she ll come around to it.Since Laura was a stray if she were to get out the door or an open fence gate I think she would definitely take off and be difficult to catch as she would most likely revert back to her survival stray mode. The Good Samaritan who found her said it took about five people to corner and catch Laura as she was so frightened. Although I wouldn t say she is an escape artist she s doesn t seem to be looking for a way to get out. She s not at all high strung nor is she hyper. She likes following me outside to sniff and explore.Poor thing has some scars and cuts on her ears and she came into rescue extremely emaciated. I ve been feeding her three times a day and she is eating well but doesn t scarf it down like I thought she might since she has obviously been starved. Laura has a gentle nature and is learning what it means to be loved and cared for and she s hoping to rope your heart for many years to come ... More Info
