She is an 8 year old purebred spayed Shih Tzu that was brought in to a local animal hospital to be euthanized for no good reason other than she had been neglected and formed a skin infection over several months. Besides the skin infection she is happy and healthy and has been fully vetted with blood tests and a urinalysis which has come back completely normal. She is currently on medications to clear up the skin infection and that is all being taken care of by the veterinarian that rescued her from being euthanized. Now Chio needs to find her forever home that will love her and take care of her forever Chio would be happiest being the only dog that could run the household with her spunky attitude and cuddle with her forever parents any time she wanted. Chio s adoption fee is 150. Please read the following carefully before applying YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS. PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Please see side menu for an explanation. As with most rescue shelter dogs he or she may or may not be housebroken or at the least need a readjustment re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING TIME and CARE.
