Toni is a bird in need of a home. Sometimes an adoption doesn t always work out. In 2008 Toni was a strikingly beautiful fully feathered macaw. She d come to us after a rocky time in her life. Toni is a fun and outgoing girl despite a rocky time in her life. She was taken in by a good Samaritan veterinary technician when Toni s former owners were raided in a police drug bust. Toni thrived in her new environment with the technician and when she arrived at the aviary was beautiful shiny and happy. She was soon adopted by a family who fell in love with her fun personality. A couple years after being adopted she started plucking. She plucked out all of her chest leg and back feathers. The family decided that Toni must be unhappy with them and they couldn t handle it. Toni was returned to us in 2013. What Toni lacks in feathers she makes up for with her personality and spirit. If you are interested in meeting a great Blue & Gold Macaw Toni is your girl.
