Penny and Parker are a bonded pair of Pyrhhura conures of different subspecies. Parker is a handsome Black capped conure and his friend is a Yellow sided Green cheeked conure which is actually a color mutation intentionally bred. These two birds have been together at TGF since the death of their owner. All of the conures that came to us from that large intake appeared to be well taken care of. Their wellness exams indicates that they are healthy according to current diagnostic exams. These two birds are comfortable around people. With positive reinforcement trust based interaction and no pressure to hurry up both birds should become wonderful feathered companions.
