Diesel - Male German Shepherd Dog Mix

This is Diesel. He is at the Kelowna SPCA awaiting a new suitable home. He has been obedience trained. Diesel wants and needs a guardian who will keep up with his energy level. He does not like to be left alone for long periods and just wants to be around people all the time. Diesel is an intelligent canine who needs to have his mental and physical needs challenged. Nose work would be a great tool for him. He is confident and walks well on a leash using the command Slow for the actual heal command. Diesel is excitable no doubt and would therefore require a strong pack leader . Having experience with the self-confident and determined German Shepherd breed would be a definite asset to becoming Diesel s new family guardian.
