DOB January 30 2014 Hello I m Venus. I m the sweetest little girl you ll ever meet. I love to be around people I will follow you around the house and run to greet you when you come home Everyone loves me. I like to be held for short periods of time and will gently let you know when I want to be put down. I think there s nothing better than a cozy bed to lie on at night. I also am not in the habit of waking you in the wee hours of the morning for breakfast I have a BEAUTIFUL shiny coat that needs regular brushing to keep me free of mats. I m pretty good for brushing even though it s not my favorite thing I would do great in a family with older children (9 ) any younger ones might be too much for me but depends on the child. I would likely get along really well with other cats with a proper introduction. I m not too sure how I feel about dogs. When I hear dogs in the hallway I sometimes growl but I ve never been formally introduced to one so who knows Lastly I m GREAT with house rabbits. I love hanging out with the bunnies at my foster home. Having company makes me happy so I d do great in a family or multi-pet home.I m a hugger if you pick me up for a little hug I ll hug right back. I also love to play a game of modified fetch if you throw my toy down the hall I ll sprint after it at top speed. Then you need to walk down the hallway pick up my toy and throw it to the other end of the room so I can chase it again. I LOVE toys but it s even better when you play with me I m a tiny little thing but I m tougher than I look. I came into the care of the Toronto Cat Rescue starved sick and nearly dead. I was so thin and weak I couldn t fight off an upper respiratory infection. I lived at the vet s for over a month getting blood transfusions rounds of antibiotics and lots of good care so I could get healthy again. I ve been in foster care for a few weeks getting stronger. Now I m just like any other cat and I m so happy to be alive Venus is now ready for her second chance at a furrever home one with lots of attention and affection would only do.
