Hi there peoplez My name is Zoe I m trying not to get too depressed but you know that song You ain t nothing but a hound dog I sure feel that way lately. Don t get me wrong my foster mom and home ROCKS and I m so happy that TLR saved me but why doesn t anyone want to give a hound dog like me a forever home You see I have a pretty sad story. I was adopted from a high kill shelter in Georgia as a puppy. I was young and cute and some guy tried real hard to make a hunting dog out of me. When he couldn t he decided I was worthless and dumped me at the same high kill shelter he adopted me from. I freaked out big time I knew I could be put to sleep because I d been there before & knew that happened to some around me. A TLR volunteer was there that day getting another foster dog and it was the saddest thing she ever saw. TLR rallied for me and a wonderful foster saved my life I ve been having a lot of fun at my fosters home but I d really like a home of my own. I m working really hard on my potty training and I do need to be let out pretty regularly. I am doing much better with this. I do really great in my crate and go right in when you want me to. I love to go outside into the big fenced yard and play with my foster dog friends I love to run & play I am very active so I would really like a home with a big fenced yard. I get along with every dog I meet and I don t have a mean bone in my body. I m a little shy because all of this is still new to me and I wasn t socialized very well before but I m young and I ll figure it out. I am just over a year old. They say Zoe you re such a pretty girl They also say I am a Treeing Walker Coonhound and you should really read about me because I have all of those typical hound dog traits. I do pretty well on a leash and love walks but I do pull a bit when I see something that gets me excited I am working on this. I love to swim in water too it s so fun I would be really great with kids but they should probably be older because I might knock over a very young one even though I wouldn t mean to. I know sit and will come running to you if you have treats and sit nice and ladylike. Treats are great I love toys and bones and I do sometimes howl like my breed is known for. I am very affectionate and just want to be a lap dog now. I want to be with my people a lot. I would do fine in a home without other dogs but I d be really great in a home with other dogs too. My foster mom says I am a big happy goofball . I am about 50-60 lbs. I am spayed and current on my vaccines.
