Blue and Murphy are bonded and must be adopted together. Blue is SUPER outgoing and craves attention. If your family doesn t have plenty of time to hold pet her then this pair is not for you. Her favorite spot is right at the cage door waiting for you to get her out They both require a yearly vet exam a variety of foods and plenty of room to hang out...until you take them out.These two will provide their new family with many hours of antics to watch. They are outgoing easy to pick-up hold and gentle. If their new family has children make sure they know how to hold and care for them and to supervise any interaction with them. Keep in mind that their spines and backs are delicate. If not held properly they can be easily injured.They should have time outside of their cage daily for socializing. Rats love to be up on shoulders and to roam. Just make sure they can t get into any tight hiding places. Rats don t normally jump off of high places (like Hamsters do) but that doesn t mean that you don t need to watch them Their diet should be a high quality rat food and just for fun baked sweet potato cooked corn cob firm tofu with Olive Oil drizzled over it very small pieces of tortilla edamame fresh broccoli and other greens like cooked brussel sprouts.
