Pedro had been waiting and waiting at the Cleveland County shelter in NC for a while. Sadly he just kept getting passed over. Why It s called Black Dog Syndrome. Black dogs are less likely to get adopted than any other dog. Farm Friends Rescue believes all dogs deserve a chance regardless of color so we rescued him. What a gem this little guy has turned out to be He loves to play fetch....a litttle rat terrier that fetches....it s a first for us He is sweet and likes to play. Pedro is house trained and gets along well with other dogs and humans. Foster family has no cats so we are unsure how he would do.
