Daven is approximately 10 years old and we believe he s a pure bred Jindo. Daven only weighs 24 lbs and besides needing to gain a few pounds he s completely healthy and his senior blood work panel is excellent Daven is arriving to MD 1 25 15 to his foster home. So far he is dog friendly and seems to prefer the company of men. We ll update more as we learn. Update from foster mom 3 25 15 Daven came to me very thin and scared. He has captured my heart. I am sure he was poorly treated in his past by the way he cowered when I would reach to pet him. Today we have a different dog. He has learned to trust and his personality is emerging. Most definitely not an alpha dog. He is calm quiet reserved and gets along with cats and other dogs. You couldn t ask for a better companion. His leash skills are great never pulls and walks at a heal without even asking. Although an older dog he is quite spry and agile without any signs of arthritis. The only sign he is older is his few missing teeth. We don t know why they are missing. He loves a good walk and toys. Daven is fascinated with toys. Never chewing them up he just collects them and hides them under his blanket. It s adorable. He cherishes his own space and bed. He will not get on furniture. He finds it very uncomfortable to entertain such ideas. I believe Daven may have been an outside dog who now is quite happy with his own place in the world. He will need a person who has the time to let him out frequently to use the bathroom. He should not be left more than 6 hours alone.
