She is smaller than your average pitty and only weighs 40 lbs. She has a beautiful unique brindle coat and a sweet personality. She came from a shelter in middle Tennessee after being brought in as a stray with a few injuries. She had 2 minor cuts and a fractured rear foot. All have now healed and she is ready to find a forever home. Maia does not do well with all dogs so it is recommended that she go to a home as an only pet however she has met a cat and does not seem to be bothered or interested in cats. She does not have a foster home so we are not sure of her house manners but we do know that she is very powerful on a leash and will require a strong handler and some good training. She does know the command to sit and will be happy to sit for cookies all day long She enjoys car rides and especially likes a good Nylabone to ease her chewing urges. Maia also loves a good roll on her back in the grass and a belly rub.
