WE CANNOT RESPOND TO GENERAL INQUIRES ABOUT A DOG WITHOUT AN APPLICATION ON FILE. Buddy and 10 of his relatives found themselves surrendered to a high kill shelter in Georgia. TLR was able to save 4 of them. Our best guess is Buddy is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Corgi mix. He has a lab shaped head on a corgi type body with the coloring of a Chesapeake Bay. But whatever he is adorable wise and soulful about sum it up. Buddy is approximately 5 years old and is 47 lbs. Buddy is a pretty mellow dude. He doesn t require a ton of exercise but still enjoys toys and playtime. He is dog friendly and house trained. However he doesn t like a crate but he hasn t been destructive in the home either. Buddy has been in his foster home in DE for one week now and here s what his foster Mom says about him Likes to sleep in bed lol.... He does bark (corgi).... LOVES toys Likes to spend time w people & pack. Ok with cats Leash walks Enjoys sitting on deck sunning LOVES brushing Would do well in a house w other dogs Can catch treats you throw Knows basic commands Buddy can be transported to our MD rescue office for an approved adopter. He has been neutered and vaccinated and is currently receiving the slow kill method for Heartworm treatment but is not symptomatic and is not contagious.
