Howie was found roaming the streets of Fairfax and we can t believe someone didn t look for him. Then he got adopted but the family travels a lot and didn t have anyone to look after him. So now he s back and we hope his next adopter will be his last. We think he would be best in an adults only home because he s very needy craves a lot of attention and can be pushy to get it He ll need a yearly vet exam and nail trimming about every 4-6 months.Howie is sweet curious active enjoys playing with toys and easy to give a nail trim to. He does not like to be held and can be difficult to pick-up. He does have a lot of energy and has enjoyed our Rabbit Romper Room where has had space to burn it off. With his energy level he ll need room inside your home to run do Bunny Binky s and explore. Daily attention and patience will help him continue to stay this friendly and outgoing.All rabbits need time outside of their enclosure to burn off energy and to kick up their feet A long hallway or a room they haven t been in before will do the trick. Getting out of their enclosure for 2-3 hours a day is critical. Not only does it help with boredom but it helps with moving their food through their delicate system.He should eat unlimited amounts of Timothy Oat Hay and or Orchard Grass hay 2-3 tablespoons of pellets (no dried fruit or nut mixes) a small handful of veggies and an occasional piece of fruit as a treat.
