Sabine thought to be a Greek Sheep Dog possibly with some Border Collie in there is described as a good dog aged about 2yrs. She was abandoned inside her crate at the shelter back in September 2015 suffering from a case of mange which she s recovererd from with treatment. Sabine loves to play catch & fetch with her ball as can be seen in the video so this will be a great way for you to gain her trust when she s adopted. She stands 55cm tall and the pictures don t do her justice really ... they say she s so beautiful Lastly Sabine was blood tested recently and showed suspect for Leishmanias one of the two common diseases of dogs in Mediterrean countries. A very low titer but will need periodic monitoring over the next year with blood test done twice at six month intervals. Also the vet may recommend she take Allopurinol to manage it. Not contagious to humans or other animals and a bottle of 500 - 300mg tablets costs about 120. Taken twice daily about 12 hrs apart with meals and dosage dejpendent on weight so any change in weight of 5lbs or more (increase or decrease) the dosage should be adjusted accordingly. Sabine is a nice dog who deserves a loving family who has a house with a secure yard where she can play with you and her ball in a safe environment.
