Meet Laurel a beautiful bright and shiny Flat-coated Retriever mix girl who is 8 months old and weighs 50 pounds at the moment. This gorgeous and sweet girl was adopted as a puppy by a family with cats. They decided that once Laurel grew larger and was so playful that perhaps they needed to stay just Cat People and turned Laurel in to a huge shelter in Tennessee. The shelter rescue liaison woman pleaded with the shelter to please allow her to network this smart girl with rescues who might come and take her into their foster program. Critter Cavalry Rescue knows the joy of owning a Flat-coated Retriever and how great a family companion they can be. So now we are offering this sweet girl to a solid and dog savvy family who will have a fenced yard and lots of doggie play dates for Laurel to attend. She is friendly with cats other dogs (loves them) and she is good with children. Laurel is housetrained happy loving and rides like a champ in the car.
