Hi my name is Rio. I m an Indian Ringneck about 2 years old. I love to eat I love chop and fruit and will eat pellets if there are no other options. Once I get to know you if I see a treat that I think is worth it I will usually step up. I can t resist a raw cashew if you know what I mean....mmm mmmm good I m a little shy about coming out of my cage. Mostly if you leave my cage open I will try to fly to your shoulder even though my wings are clipped and my foster mom isn t a big fan of it. My foster mom is teaching me how to step up not only when I want to but also when she politely asks me to. I m also working on being a little more social.I like to whistle and can mimic any whistle I hear. I love to chew paper and straw toys and whistle to myself in mirrors. I don t mind other birds and I think the dog is kind of ok. I even try to go down in my cage to see him better when he passes by my cage. I just love showers and the noise of water from the faucet. Every time I see my mom doing the dishes I fly to her and start dunking my head under the faucet My foster mom say it s really cute. She also tells me that I am a neat bird and the people who adopt me will be very happy with me.
