Jethro - Male BeagleHound (Unknown Type) Mix

Jethro is is a Beagle mix almost 5 years old who came to us last year when his owner passed away. Although he has been in a home with other dogs and cats he would do best as an only pet. Jethro seems to attach himself to a person and wants that person s undivided attention. We tried him in a home with a child about 5 and once Jethro became comfortable he would growl at the child if he came too close to the mom whom he had attached himself to. Jethro is not a bad dog at all just needy and wants a person to fuss over him and no one else. Jethro is totally vetted and house trained. He walks nice on a leash but prefers a fenced yard where he can run. He probably weighs about 30 pounds so he won t get any bigger. Jethro s adoption fee is 200.00. Jethro is not suited to apartment living. He would do best in a home with a yard.
