Poor Sassy She has been through a lot in her short life. She was owned and microchipped and then given to a friend. The friend then left her with his mom and she later brought Sassy to the shelter. Sassy is 1.5 years old 56 lbs up to date on vaccines and spayed. She is extremely loving and eager to please and has a lot of energy She does well with being kenneled. Sassy is selective about other dogs and she thinks cats are fun to chase so ideally she would need to be an only pet. She is good with kids. Sassy is hoping hard for a family that will love her and stick with her through thick and thin. She promises to be loyal and loving in return Update Sassy was adopted but returned when she was escaping from the yard. Unfortunately the decision was made to return her to the shelter. She needs to have a tall privacy fence (best) or an electric fence. She can jump shorter fences and climb chainlink. She did successfully live with a smaller male dog Sassy really really really needs some consistency in her life. Her behaviors stem from the constant changes in her life and she needs a long-term home that will patiently and consistently reinforce the rules so that she knows what to do. Inconsistent rules and environments are only making her confusion and bad behaviors worse. Please take this into consideration if you want to give Sassy a home. She is a very loving and smart girl and deserves a home for life. She will repay you in love kisses and lifetime loyalty. Sassy s adoption fee is only 60.Unless otherwise stated the adoption fee for dogs over 4 months is 120.00. Puppies under 4 months are 140.00 The adoption fee includes the animal s surgery microchip vaccinations flea preventative deworming medication sample bag of food treat samples and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Shelter policy is that all animals must be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. Our shelter is open to the public on Monday Wednesday Friday and Saturday from 1 00 pm until 5 00 pm and other times by appointment.
