Hello my name is Rocky and I am a beautiful 25 year old Blue and Gold Macaw. I am quite the perch potato and the vet said I am a little chubby whatever My liver enzymes are also a little elevated but I heard the vet say it is from my previous diet. So my foster Mom is working on a diet change which includes healthy pellets fresh fruits and vegetables chop and healthy nuts. I am learning to like this new healthy diet and my foster Mom says she will not give up until I am eating as healthy as possible. Anyhoo I m still looking for my forever home--one that can tolerate my loud screams when I see you preparing food eating food or when I want you to pick me up. It s not a typical macaw scream sometimes I like to entertain myself by watching you jump lol. My foster mom said she is going to help me get over these habits so I can go to a forever home. I really hope I can find that forever home very soon.
