Hello My name is Chico but my Foster Mom says that maybe I could be a Chica I will not say it s my secret They do not know my age and I will not tell them that either You will just have to guess I can say hello and that gets me a treat. I mostly talk to myself but mom says that is mumbling and doesn t count for a treat. I am not shy I make lots of noise when I want attention I just keep my words to myself. I am very curious about all things and I love to come out of my cage to explore. I used to not like hands but now I step up and like to sit on mom s hand while I eat my treats. I love fresh vegetables and almonds in the shell. I also eat Harrison s and Feed Your Flock pellets as well as chop other fresh vegetables and healthy nuts. Sometimes I will eat bananas or apples or mango. I like to play for nuts where we use a clicker and a touch stick and learn new ways to speak bird to humans. I am learning new things all the time like turning in a circle. Mom calls those tricks I call them opportunities to play and get a treat I have not been with humans in several years but they are not so bad at least after I have time to wake up. I am willing to learn new things and want to explore but I need someone to love me and be patient with me. I am very very smart and I will not disappoint you if you give me a chance. However I don t like rapid movement so I am not ready for a home with children. I still need someone with parrot experience and time to spend with me.
