Franklin - Male Hound (Unknown Type) Mix

Franklin is a 1 year old Hound mix. Prior to coming to our rescue he had been hit by a car and injured his back right foot. The injury required stitches bed rest and antibiotics. Recently we took Franklin to our vet and had the stitches removed and he received a clean bill of health. You would never know anything had ever happened to him. Franklin is quite energetic and seems like he would be good in just about any situation. He is very friendly and seems to be OK with other dogs and even cats. Franklin is not crate or house trained but we are making progress We think he may have had a fenced yard before coming to us and now he has to be walked on a leash and is just now catching on to going potty while leashed. He will need someone or a family to be able to take him outside on a regular basis in order to get him both crate and house trained.
