Boz is a beautiful 20 year old Goffin Cockatoo. We think he is a male but are not certain. Five years ago his beloved owner passed away. He was taken in and cared for the past five years but sadly must now find a new home. He likes to come out of his cage and sit on top. He seems to like looking out of the window. He readily accepts and enjoys head scratch and kisses. He is not aggressive at all. But keep in mind all parrots can bite.Boz does not step up but his foster mom is working on this. Boz. like all cockatoos can get very very loud. He squawks every morning at 7 AM to make sure his entire flock is awake like him. Boz calls out a few times throughout the day and his foster home is working on not reinforcing this and waiting for silence or nicer sounds before giving him attention. In the afternoon he has fun jumping around flapping his wings and singing loudly with his foster mom to burn off some energy. Boz will only be adopted out to a single family home and to someone with large bird experience.... More Info
