Koko - Male Cockatoo

Koko is a 13 year old Male Umbrella Cockatoo. He is friendly and affectionate and has lived in his current home since he was a baby. We are seeking someone who can offer him more time and attention. Koko would probably do best in a single-woman home with an owner who works from home or part-time. He enjoys coming out of his cage eating with the family talking and playing. Koko s mom thought her time and availability would improve for him but this has not been the case and although she loves him dearly and it will be painful for her to let him go he is a very loving bird and deserves more companionship. Koko is very bonded to his mom so he does get territorial around her husband. He was raised around a dog cats and seems to enjoy the company and high-pitched voice of children (although he does not live with children). He likes to play but one must take caution not to grab the toy at the same time he does Koko is on Harrison s diet likes showers getting outside in his outside-cage he has a separate small sleep cage an air filter and a UV light and enjoys hand-made white pine wood strung toys to destroy.
