Peppers - Male Domestic Shorthair

Courtesy post - TCAS- The owner left Marbles Goblin and Peppers with a friend. He told the friend that he would be back for them and then never returned. The have been at TCAS since January 15th and are all hoping to finally find their forever homes. The three are currently being treated for URI but seem to be improving. All three have also been tested for FIV Feluk and were negative. Peppers is a black and white domestic shorthair. He has already been neutered and is about 6 years old. Peppers is a sweet boy and will roll over for you to pet his belly. Peppers came down with a severe URI and was sent to the vet for treatment. The vet changed his medication and also put him on a nebulizer. He is doing so much better and is eagerly awaiting a rescue to come for him Goblin is a brown and black tiger domestic short hair. She is about 10 years old and has been spayed. Goblin is a more reserved girl but still likes her fair share of attention. She loves her back being scratched. She would do well in any home. Marbles is a beautiful grey and white domestic longhair. She has also been spayed is about 9 years old. She is a big sweet girl and will rub against you to get your attention. She weighs about 13lbs. The technicians at the shelter noticed she was having some abnormal breathing so a vet took a look at her. The vet diagnosed her with asthma. They gave her a Depo steroid shot to help with the asthma. The shot should keep her asthma under control for the next month. The biggest recommendation the vet had was to get her out of the shelter and into a home where her stress can be reduced. Poor thing probably had an asthma attack just dealing with the stress of the shelter. One of our members in the rescue has two cats with asthma so she would be happy to assist with how to keep her asthma well-managed as treatment is not expensive nor is the medication.
