Hello my name is Coco and I am a quaker parrot. As you can see I came into rescue plucking some of my feathers. I am trying really hard to let them grow in and it helps that I have discovered these things called toys that my foster Mom keeps putting in my cage. My foster Mom also introduced me to this nice stuff called chop and I LOVE it It is the 1st thing I eat every morning I also love birdie bread almonds and bananas. Heck I ll eat pretty much anything you give me but these pellets hmph those are for the birds wait I AM a bird OK I ll keep trying with those. I REALLY want a human companion so bad but I am a bit scared of hands so my foster Mom is working with the Florida Parrot Rescue Behavior Educator so that we can socialize with each other without me being scared and without her getting bit. We are both working on that very very hard....
