Her weepy eyes are a leftover chronic condition.One day a man walked into a large pet store and when no one was looking dumped three mother cats with six kittens. Hedy and Helena were two of the mothers who raised the kittens together. Helena is thought to be Hedy s mother as well. Hedy can be reserved on first impression and in new situations yet she is very loving if given the chance to show her sweet and appreciative nature. She ll put her tail in the air when you talk to her (or give her scritches there) and enjoys listening to your conversations. Hedy is also quite curious and playful plastic straws are an especial favorite. While she prefers a slower side approach to fast or head-on this sweetheart will roll into your scritching hand and is ready to be a loving companion. Helena is an exceptionally loving kitty who adores everyone and everything. She ll purr loudly when petted and appreciates frequent pets and kisses. Helena will flex her paws making biscuits in her happiness and contentment and will seek you out for attention whenever you re willing to give her some. Helena s eyes can water on and off and in times of stress due to an infection she successfully beat back. Hedy looks to her mother for confidence and reassurance after a separation she was clearly overjoyed to be reunited with Helena and more relaxed. They MUST be adopted together.Hedy and Helena got along well with the many cats in their foster home. A quieter home with adults with suit them best though cat-savvy older children may work out well too. We don t know their feelings yet about dogs.While it s anyone s guess where their family originated Hedy and Helena have always done their best with the cards they ve been dealt.
