Sammie s Friends is a 501 (3) non-profit corporation. We provide medical care for the animals at the Nevada County Shelter making them adoptable and we support other disadvantaged animals in Nevada County that would otherwise be euthanized to end their suffering. Sammie s Friends also operates the Nevada County Animal Shelter. WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER These are a brother and sister pair who have been with us for some time. They have spent a lot of time in a foster home learning to trust people. These kids had a rough start But here is what their foster mom has to say about them. & quot They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Both are very sweet gentle and love to cuddle They may be shy at first and should be contained in a small room temporarily. If they should hide they can be enticed out with a toy or canned food. Because they are shy they would do best in a household without small children. With a little patience and a slow loving approach these two will thrive. Both have been altered and are current on all vaccines.
