Riley - Male Maine Coon

Riley is a beautiful Maine Coon mix who is approximately 7 years old. He was most likely abandoned as he showed up as a friendly cat in a feral colony near a business where the employees fed and cared for the cats. He was rescued by SG4F in 2009. Since that time he has been adopted several times and returned. The main factors for his return are his need for a prescription diet Hill s c d to prevent the formation of urinary tract crystals and due to his inability to co-exist with other pets in the homes. At this point Riley is in good health with no issues with urinary problems. He has had dental care recently and has no problems with his gums teeth etc. now. We have learned from different homes that he must be an only pet as he competes for attention and will have confrontations with both dogs and cats in the homes. He bonds quickly to the humans and wants to sleep with them. He is sweet quiet and laid back when no other pets are in the family. SG4F is seeking an adoptive family for Riley with no other inside pets. We have decided to waive the adoption fee in an effort to find the right home for him. Due to limitations of space and his need for special food he must be separated from other cats at his current foster home which does not allow him much freedom.
