Although Carly was very scared and shy when she first arrived in her foster home she now has a nearly constant tail wag and she thoroughly enjoys human attention. Prior to coming to Midwest BREW Carly most likely lived outdoors (based on her unfamiliarity with indoor items like the television) however she easily learned to appreciate the comforts of indoors especially dog beds stuffy toys and chew bones. Carly loves to follow her foster parents from room to room but so far she only rarely gets up on the furniture. She is working on house training and does very well going potty when she is outdoors but is also prone to accidents if her foster parents don t make sure she goes out regularly.Carly is friendly with the other dogs in her foster home and is occasionally playful but more often she entertains herself or asks for attention from her people. Carly sometimes chases the cats in her foster home and howls at them under the bed. In her mind she is being playful and never tries to hurt them but her behavior could be stressful for resident cats. Otherwise Carly is generally quiet indoors and in the yard she may bay at squirrels or other wildlife that catch her attention. On the few car rides Carly has been on since she came into rescue she has gotten carsick and we don t know whether or not this will improve with time and experience.Don t be fooled by Carly s sad face because she is a very happy girl Carly would love a forever home with lots of attention from humans a comfy dog bed and stuffy toys and chew bones to keep her entertained and in return she will give you her complete devotion and adoration....
