Behavior Kazu is a very sweet bird that will sit on your shoulder and give you kisses. She does prefer men but is ok with women. She needs to be handled carefully and with patience to build trust. Expect to be nipped but persevere and you will earn her trust.Diet High quality love bird seed or pellet blend with small amounts of fresh fruits and veggies. Millet spray makes an excellent treat Make sure to change water on a daily basis to prevent illness and disease.Habitat Provide a large square cage (not round ). Provide a variety of bird toys and rotate regularly to prevent boredom. Use perches with different widths surfaces and at different heights. Mouth Teeth Beaks are generally maintained if a bird has access to wooden perches or mineral blocks.Additional Info Love birds have quite a distinct chatter that can be irritating to some. You will be fascinated by her behavior but don t expect them to learn tricks or imitate behavior. Be sure to find an avian vet in your area for emergencies and routine care.
