Summary North Mississippi Primary Health CareThe employee will be responsible for requested and or assigned transportation of ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents drives wheelchair transport van and other vehicles in all road conditions including clement weather dense traffic and rural off-road settings.These passenger s may be transported for a variety of reasons including but limited to doctors appointments pharmacy hospital and referral visits.Responsibilities The employee will be responsible for the safe transport and care of these passengers throughout the duration of the appointment from the time picked up at their residence until the time they are returned to their residence after their appointment. Additional responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to complete daily vehicle check obtain signatures from passenger and facilities properly secure passengers wheelchairs in company vehicle operate a hydraulic lift in company vehicle reading a road map operating a two-way radio use a GPS for navigation and possibly perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on a passenger in distress.
