Midnight was brought to the SPCA when her owners had to move and were unable to take her and the other cats in the home along. Midnight has now been in care over 100 days as unfortunately seniors often get passed over for younger animals. She can be shy with new places and people and will require a bit of time to warm up to people. Once she knows you this senior will settle right in she will make a good companion for those cold winter nights and for someone looking for company while watching TV or reading a book.Midnight has lived with other cats but would prefer ones that are a little calmer and relaxed with her - she doesn t have the energy to keep up with a kitten anymore. She likes her space and may try to be the dominant cat in the house. If you have cats at home ask staff about how to introduce them to ensure success. She may actually prefer to be the only cat in the home. She has never been around dogs.Once she knows you and your space Midnight is fairly outgoing. She loves to be petted but will also let you know when she is done so a cat savvy owner is important. Midnight also has a playful side and loves dangly toys and rolling around in catnip. Midnight needs an owner that will keep up with regular vet care as she does have a mild heart condition which will need to be monitored. She does not currently need to be on medication but there is always the possibility that she may in the future. Regular vet care will help this beauty live a long and healthy life as possible.
