These are the two rats i am fostering I have named the grey one Dagon and the Brown one Augur.They are very bonded and spend thier time together in the hammock. they will take food from your hand and really like yogurt apples and cheerios. I did not give them many hiding spots and have gotten them used to having people around. They come up to the cage door when it is opened. They also really like to play with paper towel ( the crunchy sounding kind ) and paper. they scrunch it up and drag it around and stuff it in the hammock. hahahNeither of them have ever bitten me when i have taken them out of the cage and i usually take on in a tshirt and hold them on my lap. they will let you pet them inside the cage and pet them on your lap. They re still very skiddish and will try to run away if they get out of your lap so best to do in closed spaces. Dagon is definately the alpha rat and augur usually follows behind.
