Finn & Huck came from a home where there were far too many animals to be properly cared for. Since coming into our care they are on a healthy diet and we are starting to learn so much about them.These two are still quite timid and likely will be for awhile. An experienced home would be best although if you have a little rat savvy and plenty of patience we know these two will warm up once they feel safe and at home.Staff and volunteers have been hand feeding them quite often to earn their true - a great way to a rat s heart is through their tummy They love many things including egg toasted pumpkin seeds and certain fruits and veggies.Rats are incredibly intelligent animals and love learning and exploring each day. Being outside their habitat is best even if it s just a small space like a bathroom so they can about and stretch their legs. They love to cuddle and once these two are more trusting we know that inside your sweater is exactly where they d like to be Finn & Huck would only like to find a home together as that s how they feel safest.
