Angel (w Penny) - Female Pigeon
Angel hatched with severely splayed legs and a slightly defective wing but despite her inability to stand walk or fly she was still full of life. When her person feeling unable to care for her took her to a vet to be euthanized that vet found MickaCoo and we took Angel into our care. We very generous support from our donors and the avian vets at Medical Center for Birds we ve been able to give Angel a MUCH better life. She has had surgery and now is able to stand and to walk and she is so proud and busy She is still wearing a hobble (for physical therapy to keep her legs properly positioned while they gain strength) but she could care less. She stands tall and can go where she wants to go and where she wants to go is straight into a loving person s heart and forever home.
