I am an extremely GENTLE massively sensitive and personable 4 year old Staffordshire Terrier Pit Bull mix. I weigh about 70lbs but I m essentially just an oversized lap dog (no really- I am). I am always curious about what you are doing- so if you hear someone tip-toeing behind you that would be me Mr. Curious I know basic commands and I am housetrained- I do not like to be crated but because I m such a good boy my foster mom trusts me alone while she s at work all day. Speaking of home life I m actually agreeable to smaller spaces so apartment living is fine with me because I don t even like to go on walks. I m just happiest and most content to be inside of a home all day curled up with my favorite stuffed animal that I carry around for comfort and entertainment- I don t want much activity or have a desire to be outdoors as I am super sensitive to scary noises and activity (I think this is from being chained up in someone s backyard in my previous life before I was rescued).I have been living with the same foster since June 2013 and little by little I have become less anxious around other dogs. I have been through socialization camp which has boosted my confidence quite a bit but I m still scared of most other dogs when I am outdoors on leash (again because I was always a backyard dog I just never learned how to walk on leash calmly or how to meet other dogs). I guess you can say I am dog selective- a dominant loud or pushy kind of dog will only upset me but if you are a fun calm dog you and I can be best friends- just like my foster sister Mynka and I are (she s the white pit bull in the pictures- she is my favorite and yes she s also looking for a forever home). I also have no toy or food aggression issues- I am not jealous and do not have any issues sharing which is also great for any families out there with kids (which I do love as well someone fun to follow around take naps with and watch tv next to at night).All I want is a home to call my own and a family who understands that I am just a sensitive but extremely loving dog whose confidence comes from the security and patience you give me.I am neutered microchipped and up to date on all of my shots.
