Cisco came into TGF with 3 other feathered friends from a Denver area animal shelter when all of the birds were relinquished by the former caregiver s family. Each of of the birds appears to have been treated affectionately and loved. All 4 of the birds are comfortable and interactive with people. Whether missing good diets an opportunity to bathe frequently little or no time outside their feathers will gain back some of their shine and lustre. Cisco s feather destructive behavior appears to be something he s done for awhile because the feather follicles aren t producing new feathers. He certainly knows how to use the feathers and face to make himself appear dashing to any viewer. One of Cisco s favorite routines is to hang out with the staff as they tackle office chores. When he dances and hops about on their desks everyone breaks into laughter at the sight of this eager entertainer. Cisco is used to being around other birds and he has made some friends to hang outside with on nice weather days. Like his other feathered friends we hope to help him find a new flock to call his own or a sponsor who cares about him and the future he faces.
