Scooter is featured here having a ride-about with one of her captivated caregivers at TGF s Denver location. Scooter s a simply magnificent gorgeous and glamorous Greenwinged macaw. She has a charming and outgoing personality she s friendly with both men and women and is curious and interactive. She is in perfect feather. Scooter came to us in 2011 because her caregiver underwent severe financial losses and lost his home. When she came into our care Scooter had a severely embedded leg band wound that since the band was removed has healed without a trace of injury or pain. Scooter needs as large a cage as possible for her bird-home her own carrier and an outdoor aviary cage or safe play area to get her the important Vitamin D that is essential for bird health and wellness. Scooter enjoys the company of other birds and is comfortable around other macaws. She s a mature bird and in excellent health.
