Not only does he love to fracture wood into tiny pieces he also loves investigating boxes and new objects. Despite his soft side towards patient interactions Tico s a tough guy when it comes to the flock dynamic. Within the TGF outdoor aviaries Tico is known for acting big and making his presence known. This is a normal behavior for a bird in the wilds of the outdoors but it doesn t always serve Tico well with other cockatoos in his same flight. Tico has learned many things since his arrival at TGF in 2003 including stepping up.
