All white King pigeon Jose is one of 13 birds that were somehow rescued (details unknown) from being butchered as poultry and surrendered to MickaCoo on 3 14 to find a safe home and live a good life. Jose & Rose were either bonded before or struck up a relationship once here and are now a mated pair. Both are high-spirited and seem to prefer aviary life to that of being pets. They are fostered at Andy s (100% Rescue) Pet Shop in San Jose and you can meet them and their friends there.
