He needs a very experienced home ideally a working home as he has some herding drive. He is fearful protective of strangers and will nip bite hence his special needs designation. He s about 8 yrs. old and weighs 50lbs. He is housetrained and cratetrained. He s on the smaller side of medium and is easy to take along. He can be a nervous boy around people he doesn t know and does best in a quiet environment and while he LOVES many dogs some he doesn t like. He does well with his foster pack but does try to boss the others around (part of the herding dog mentality). He s quite the noisey player and you might think he s being aggressive when actually its all in fun. He bonds strongly to his person. He needs a very dog experienced home preferably with herding dog experience. We have had a sheep herding instinct test and he passed and might be a good working dog. Its certainly fun to do with him.
