Rhea is sweet 10 year old that came from the shelter as a stray. She appeared to have a wound on her ear but after a vet visit it was discovered that it was cancer and she had to have both ears removed to prevent the spread of the disease. Her condition had been going on for such a ling time that it is doubtful that all the cancer cells were removed and she has been given 6 months to a year to live. The saddest part is if it had been treated when it started the prognosis is very good. But we are determined that she have a wonderful life with whatever time she has left. She adores attention and is the sweetest girl. She LOVES having her little nubs rubbed.
