Nickname Dexter Posted Breed Anatolian Shepherd (short coat). Attractive Dexter has had a tough time... a time full of heartbreak and loneliness that still shows sometimes in his expressive face. You see his owner passed away. And as if that heartache wasn t enough he was left to fend for himself for a while. Thankfully a very caring couple helped save him by getting him to a shelter. He spent a long 2 months in a shelter until Dogs Are Deserving heard about him and came for him. Despite his sad start Dexter is a happy boy and is eager to meet new people and other dogs. He is a large pup and full of excited energy. He needs a home with a 4-6ft high fence so that he can race around and burn off some of his extra energy. He also needs someone who likes to play fetch and who will take him on long slow walks. He takes his time on walks sniffing and taking it all in. It s best to do slow intros with Dexter. He s a lot of happy thankful dog and may be too much for those not understanding dogs....
